Spicy Asian Turkey

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sriracha
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. red chili powder
  • salt to taste
  • 15 lb. turkey
  • 1 medium yellow onion sliced
  • 5 green onions sliced
  • 3 celery ribs diced
  • 5-8 cloves garlic
  • 3-5 slices fresh ginger
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium bowl combine mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, red chili powder, and salt.
  • Rub the spice mixture all over the cleaned turkey and place the turkey breast side down in a roasting pan on a rack.
  • Place the sliced onions, green onions, celery, garlic, and fresh ginger inside the turkey cavity.
  • Pour the chicken broth in the roasting pan and carefully place the pan inside the oven. Roast for 2 – 2 ½ hours until the turkey’s internal temperature reaches 170 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Allow the turkey to rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
